What makes this place different is the sea lions in the water around the market! You can be 5 m away of them. Also you will find seafood of a size you never saw before

If you are looking for fresh local produce this is the place to come in Valdivia. Lots of fruit, veg and fish products at prices far lower than the large supermarkets nearby

Great fresh fish, seafood, vegetables, spices and typical ingredients of chilean southern cuisine. The market offers a myriad of colors, smells and sensations. The show is completed with the sea lions popping out of the river. One of Valdivia’s greatest attractions.
