We took a tour from our cruise ship where we rode past Lake Llanquihue on our way to Lake Todas los Santos. At Lake Todas we boarded a boat and had a very enjoyable scenic ride. The scenery was breathtaking and very calming. The weather was perfect, and we had great views of the surrounding volcanoes. I would recommend this cruise.

We went to visit this lake as a family group. It’s annoying to be paying every time you go to the bathroom in a public place. It doesn’t help tourism. There is a lot of potential, but a lot of work is needed. The views are amazing. Try to keep it clean. I have visited many “touristic” places in this region, and it makes me sad about the amount of garbage that I found everywhere. It’s disgusting. Even human fecal rests on some walking trails … there is an evident lack of public sanitary facilities. What a waste of potential. Anyways. I wanted to highlight the beauty of this lake, but I ended up highlighting the dirtiness of the region. Too sad.

A stunning tour on the seaplane! Everyone was satisfied. The views were breathtaking, the pilot expertly navigated, and the weather was perfect. We soared over crystal-clear waters, saw beautiful islands from above, and even spotted some dolphins playfully swimming. The experience was unforgettable, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Truly, it was an adventure that we all cherished.

We toured around Lago Todos los Santos for an afternoon and it was magical. The color the water is spectacular and the views along the shore line were terrific. The scenery changes with each passing minute and there's always something new to see. Interesting to see cabins/houses built along the shoreline (they were constructed/deeded before this area was a national park), but equally interesting to think about how these people stay/live in these cabins. Definitely an enjoyable afternoon and something I'd recommend to anyone staying in the area.

It seems to me that there is a monopoly on navigation, and it is part of the "Andean cross".
The catamaran that sails there is very good, safe, spacious and comfortable.
The trip to Peulla takes about 1h45 and is too beautiful!
The landscape is a gift to the eyes and tireless to admire, with whatever light it is.

We took a cruise across this emerald colored lake. The scenic beauty is breathtaking, there are waterfalls cascading into the lake and the might volcano Osorno towering over it all. It's possible to cross the lake and transfer into Argentina. We opted to stay in chile and return on the boat the same day. Great trip, a true gem!

We crossed Lago Todos los Santos (All Saints Lake) as part of our Cruce Andino tour from Bariloche to Puerto Varas. We lucked out and had picture perfect weather. Beautiful clear blue lake surrounded by snow capped mountains. Had awesome views of the Osorno (8,700 ft tall and still active -- last time in 1869) and Puntiagudo (8,179 ft tall and since active -- last time in 1850) Volcanoes. Very worth while.

During our stay at some cabins near Puerto Varas we made a half day trip that started with the Saltos de Petrohué (from 9am) and then we drove about 6kms further along the road (gravel) to Lago Todos Los Santos. The lake is located inside the Vicente Perez Rosales National Park.

Car parks - do not park along the main road (carabineros or police were giving fines) or in the first car park which charges minimum of $1000 pesos first 30 mins and 30 pesos every 10mins after. You should keep going along to the very end of the road to an area right in front of the lake which offers free parking. It’s a little walk back but we thought it was fine.

Boat trips - you can wander along the beach / wharf area and negotiate a trip with one of the boat captains. Our group of 8 managed to get a large boat on a private trip for $3000 pesos per person ($24,000) for a 30 min trip. He also offered an hour if we wanted it but 30 mins was fine for us. It’s worth noting that the first boat had asked for $5000 pesos per person. The other thing I noticed were large tour groups packed into small boats so if you are taking a package tour be sure to check the size of boat and number of people.
The boat cruises out a way and then turned back closer to the shore line. We had great views of the Osorno Volcano, Puntiagudo Volcano and the Andes mountains and native bush.

After this we went back to Ensenada township for lunch at an excellent spot called Restaurant Toqui (see my other review)

The cruise across Lago Todos Los Santos was in the most beautiful countryside we have seen anywhere in the world. TurisTour runs a catamaran from Petrohue to Peulla and back every day of the year; you can purchase your ticket on board. It leaves Petrohue at 10:30 am. You arrive in Peulla at 12:00 pm. The boat sails again at 4:00 pm, returning to Petrohue by about 5:30 pm.

Public transport only up to Petrohue. No tourist information center at the Lake. Area around the lake is private and therefore can be walked through only as part of paid tours. Place is great, nature at its best, but limited access due to private interests makes me rate it only as average.
