We went from Puerto Chacabuco to Puerto Montt so 24hours on board. Cabins are small but clean, toilets and showers were clean and well kept. Food on board was great and generous. They even catered specifically for my girlfriend as she is vegetarian. This is...More

It's a pretty unique experience! Don't expect a cruise-ship experience. This is a ferry. As ferries go, this is a pretty basic ferry. We've been in much nicer ferries in many parts of the world.... We chose a Triple A cabin. This included 2 single...More

Warning: This is a long review, because I think this trip deserves one. Here's a quick "I don't want to read all of that" section in case you're in a rush (which if that's the case, this ferry might not be for you): 1. I...More

Four of us hopped on the Navimag ferry in Puerto Montt and 4 days later hopped off in Puerto Natales. We had a tight squeeze in one room with two sets of bunkbeds but managed just fine. Had our own designated washroom just down the...More

It's not a cruise ship but we didn't expect it would be. Finding the meeting point was a challenge. We had a lot of conflicting information. Finally on the day before we were to sail we received an email directing to be at the Holiday...More

Comfy little cabin, with private bath. Meals are included. You might want to bring some snacks. Also a really interesting thing that no one ever mentions about the NaviMag long distance runs: we went from Puerto Montt to Puerto Chacabuco. It was scheduled to leave...More

Navimag is the local way. No hassles, no traumas. No snooty international 4-5 star tourists. The only cheaper way would be to buy your own tinnie or cruiser. Roderick
