Best sightseeing stop during our trip to the south of Chile, we were lucky as it was a beautiful sunny day ( it rains a lot in this region) and although it was off season for skying some adventurous guys walk all the way up...More

We went up there with Sierra Nevada company. Excellent guide and preparation, also best prices in town. The weather was really unstable, so we went to the base and decided then to go up. Our guide was concerned about the weather changing, so we hurried...More

We drove up to the volcano - single lane no passing places - to the lava tubes. The road forks and the road left goes to a visiting centre and cafe where the tours leave from. The road right goes to the snow fields and...More

We bought a tour to the cave that exists inside the volcano, you arrive driving through a beautiful path of millenary trees ... inside the guide show us how wonderful nature can be... Definitely an amazing journey from beginning to end...

When people travel to Chile, they always visit Santiago, Valparaíso, Viña del Mar and a couple of wineries. Although these are very nice tours, they are losing a must go in the country: the infinitely charming and adventurous little town of Pucón. There, you can...More

We climbed the volcano after almost one week of rain. The crater was quite steamy! But there are some amazing views from up there! Unfortunately it's forbidden and unsafe to go without guides. It would have been nicer, though, if the tours were a bit...More

I doubt it very much (no creo). When I ascended the volcano, it was summer and the guides were always looking for excellent weather (blue sky and no clouds). You have to have good visibility to be safe. Also, you don't want... More

Yes on a day of good weather. The climb is do able and not hard. Of course people should bds relatively fit. The extent of climb can also be reduced from 5 hours to 4 hours if you pay extra for the chair lift.
