Amazing hiking!

We had a wonderful hike on a clear day that offered incredible views, a reasonable pace and a super fun day!

if you are a fit person, climbing this volcano is a must. Great view, great experience. Almost 4 hours up and you can actually see the lava boiling and bursting. Another 3 hours down and lots of rest afterwards. if you do not feel ready for the climb, visit and take photos, the scenery is beautifull.

I did the hike up with the company Florencia Turismo and it´s worth all the money you pay for. I have never seen something more beautiful in my whole life.

we did the tour with summit chile which is a great tour operator! they are on time, very professional, charming and well organized. the vulcano itself is pretty spectacular and thats the reason why so many people are there (up to 400 on a sunny day). the hike up to the vulcano is nothing special from a mountaineering perspective...

A climb to the volcano puts things into perspective - you feel small and insignificant compared to nature's power. The views into the crater leave you lost for words to describe it. The climb itself is moderately fast (but well) paced. One needs to be fit, but there are no technical sections. The glissading down is fun even (and especially)... More

Im not much of a hiker but this, this was hard! You're not walking on solid soil, you are walking up and down loose rocks, which makes it all that harder to balance, grip and hike! But overall, the weather was great, the walk was very tough but i managed to get through it. It took me 8 hours to... More

This trip is not for the unfit! We were fortunate to arrive on a very clear day but being Sunday apparently the chairlift only runs sporadically. For those in the group planning to take the chairlift this was a big disappointment and resulted in some being unable to summit as they hoped. This is definitely not an easy hike. The... More

This is a stunningly beautiful volcano. Smoke rising from the summit and snow capped, what more could you want. Amazing

The road to go is not that easy without 4x4. Getting at the end of the road there s a terrace coffe. You can watch the never ending smoking volcan. We couldn t get higher because of the forest fire, but usually there s a chairlift that takes you more up.

My wife and I booked the Villarrica Volcano trek together with another friend through the Pucon Aventura agency. Since we first walked to the door the service was friendly and informative. The trek costs around 80,000 pesos per person (includes all equipment, transfers, guides, etc), but can be discounted slightly if you buy more excursions with them and if in... More
