The entrance is in the heart of Chinatown. After paying the entry fee you receive a individual guide in the language you require. It’s easy to operate and the tour is numbered with commentary at each location. It explains the early arrivals to Singapore and...More

Went in early in the morning to enquire for some information, but the staff wasn't really friendly. They are not knowledgeable about Singapore Tourism Promotion too.

Small visitor centre with basic information and deals that can be found online. Only visit if you are in the area. Staff helpful but very keen to get you to buy packages etc but aren't overly pushy.

Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
