I ended up paying too much for tickets bought from this visitors centre. I went in not knowing what I wanted and was convinced to buy tickets for Singapore Zoo, River Safari and Lumina. I was charged S$186 for two people. When I went to...More

While visiting the area, went into the Centre for a browse. The middle aged male behind the cash register was extremely unhelpful. When asked by a mature couple on how to travel on the MRT as a one off experience, he told them in pidgin...More

The entrance is in the heart of Chinatown. After paying the entry fee you receive a individual guide in the language you require. It’s easy to operate and the tour is numbered with commentary at each location. It explains the early arrivals to Singapore and...More

Does what it's supposed to do: gives information, brochures and maps. Located in Chinatown, easy to access, friendly staff.

This place has a fair bit of information in it and is good to scope out local things to do. The staff were a bit abrupt but nothing to be concerned about. It’s not a tourist attraction in its own right, just good to find...More

Chinatown is a big area, this place is right in the middle of it about one block from the MTR stop. Close to Buddha Relic Temple also and a couple of Hawker Centers too. You can go in there to ask questions, get maps, directions,...More

Went in early in the morning to enquire for some information, but the staff wasn't really friendly. They are not knowledgeable about Singapore Tourism Promotion too.

Small visitor centre with basic information and deals that can be found online. Only visit if you are in the area. Staff helpful but very keen to get you to buy packages etc but aren't overly pushy.

Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
