This street has so many restaurants it is unbelievable. We have tried a few and the food was always very good with very pleasant waiters and an exceptional atmosphere. One has to try their local tap beer. If you have never been here … you...More
Great place to have some craft beer in Singapore. Great choice on tap and good staff
As previous reviews have mentioned, it’s situated in a hawker centre, so an abundance of food offerings are right there also.
Hawker Center makes for a good atmosphere also.
Eventhough theres a small hiccup when we first got there but oh well it was all good because of their capable lady manager which I forgotten to get her name. Food was awesome and yummy. Nice ambience too. Just that the price is a little...More
This is an interesting place since it is a craft beer bar in a hawker center. Definitely a departure from the rest of the stalls, but that makes it a great place to get good beer surrounded by a variety of places to eat. Prices...More
Was looking forward to checking this place out being a beer lover. If Hawker centres are not your thing, then avoid. For me it’s the overpowering food smells of the surrounding hawkers that spoilt the enjoyment for the Brewdog IPA I chose. A fairly good...More
Nice spot in the hawker center. They have a lot of imported beers. They had some from Australia, Hong Kong and the UK. They had a big variety. I had a pineapple sour from Australia. The beers here are a bit more pricey compared to...More
Fishheads, durian, no lights and dirty tables. What's not to love? Sure, you might be outside your comfort zone but live a little. Watch bats fly by, eat things you don't entirely know what, and drink imperial russian stout, or a lambiek, or an IPA....More
This hawker stall had about 12 craft beers on tap, the ones I tried were excellent.
The atmosphere was also really good, situated at the side of the hawker center so it was also possible to get excellent food. Only problem is it closes at...More
I was disappointed with this bar, as with a lot of bars in Singapore, they seem to think that all beer MUST be served by the pint. On the night i visited, there was a Tap Take Over by Black Heart Brewing from Vietnam. When...More
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
