Thought this would be like the other souvenir shops but I was proven wrong as the staff patiently introduced the various curated handmade wares. There were even little note cards and videos explaining how different items are made, such as the lacquer ware that's hand-painted...More

I saw this store while looking for the subway station. I was curious but I thought I would have find cheap souvenirs. I was pleasantly struck by the beautiful stuff. Good hand painted chinese stuff. The owner is very nice. I loved it!

This souvenir shop seemed so different as I walked through the shop. The owner, Zhen (pictured below) is very friendly and takes great pride in explaining that every piece here is painted by local artists. She added, "her items stand out as it has good...More

Shop has a good range of high quality souvenirs at reasonable prices. The lady who worked there was helpful, without being pushy. She remembered that I'd already been there looking and came back to buy ( when I realised nearly all the other shops were...More

If you can t get easily a discount go further down temple street and turn right , same products and different choices. Once you make your choice just buy, you won t get more discount than that from what we tried on both shops.

Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
