Great hands on way to learn more about Singapore food and culture. We had a great morning, learned lots and tried a lot of the foods we talked about in class in the following days.

For one who can't tell the difference between a Wok and a Pan, my invested time at Food Playground this morning has given me the confidence to cook up a storm to surprise my husband and daughter this weekend ! :-)

Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
