Good view of the city with sensible commentary

We took the Red Line and saw a good selection of the city sights. The commentary was helpful and knowledgable.

After getting advice from our hotel we took a taxi to one of the stops. I rang the Hippo info line and they confirmed the stop number as there is no clear signage. We waved the driver down and he drove straight past. We then decided to walk to the next stop so we didn't have to sit for 25... More

A great way to get around, five routes in Singapore which give you a really good look at the whole city. Clean buses, on time - a two day pass is great value and will give you time to do all routes properly.

Caught the yellow line to Suntec City then hopped onto the red line. Best for sightseeing is upstairs unfortunately we were caught in a rain storm - wow! The routes are quite long making them perfect for first time visitors as you can decide which parts of the city you want to return to. Tickets are cash only and are... More

If you already have some idea as to what you want to see in Singapore, come to these guys and get all your ticketing sorted before proceeding. They can organise entry tickets, some with discounts, and will probably have a bus going right past the place at some time, for you to hop on and hop off. We did their... More

Picked up a day pass through the hotel which worked out cheaper. Good audio commentary and regular service. Buses clean and appear well maintained. When boarding pick up a set of headphones then plug them in to the boxes by each seat. You can select various languages and adjust the volume as required. There's also a free map at the... More

We had never been to Singapore and had very little advance knowledge about it. We often find that a HOHO provides a good intro. This one did. We got a two day pass and travelled all the routes, returning to and getting off at places that interested us. We later heard an excursion guide on our cruise ship say that... More

Good tour and if you by 2 day pass you can use any of the 7 routes(5 really unless going out to safari). The tour is good but would help if routes intersected better to hop on and of to different route. Having done a few of these in the UK the main difference(So be careful) is that in Singapore... These buses are a great idea in cities but this one is a little more complicated than most. I took the red route one day although at one point I took a taxi (surprisingly cheap) and the yellow route the next but needed to transfer to the brown route and had to wait for nearly an hour in pouring rain.... Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
