Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Firstly, the location is really great to be next to the Riverside and it's not too crowded. A good place to get a leisurely stroll before and after.

There's lots of different high end cuisines here - Italian, Japanese, Persian even. Good place to have a comfortable night out with good food. Also can go from restaurant to nearby bars. I like shabestan and wine connection.

We were staying in a hotel next to the river. We saw that there were turtles in the river. The area seemed nice and there are restaurants along the river side. At night the area is lit up nicely. The area seemed clean and well maintained

Great neighbourhood with tons of resturants, bars and some cafes. Most of them are on the expensive side given the location. But they is quite a variety..located next to the Singapore river, it's a great place for evening walks. You will be see people running and cycling in the area all day long

In my opinion this side of the river is much preferable for a nice dinner or drinks, than the neighbouring Clarke Quay.

Much more pleasant and chilled atmosphere, nice selection of restaurants and generally less annoyingly loud people.

There is a really nice pizza place just past the eM Bar called Giardano, really great pizza and casual setting, not yet rated on TripAdvisor

Also nice just for an evening stroll without drinks or dining.

Having heard so much about the Alt Pizza at Robertson Quay, we decided to give it a try this Easter weekend and boy, were we delighted with the choice! DIY Pizza is an innovative way for you to make your choice of pizza ingredients, toppings etc. DTI, i.e., Do Try It, would be my advice! The dips were also mouthwatering...we tried the Spinach & Artichoke dip, which was just great. The colorful walls and ambience added to a great fun lunch on a long lazy weekend. Much recommended.

Robertson Quay is awesome, but...

Warning! Do not visit Barraka. Yes, their wine prices are affordable - but make sure you are actually charged the correct amount!

There was a large chalkboard outside that clearly stated sangria was $6 per glass. However, I was charged $10 and they refused to give me the advertised price because "they made a mistake." Then, they wouldn't erase the incorrect price off the chalkboard so that others wouldn't be misled! I walked by THREE DAYS later and it still said $6 for a glass of sangria.

The service is absolutely the worst I have had in Singapore, which is saying something. We ordered a beer and a sangria. They brought me my sangria, and then every single server, manager and bartender disappeared for literally 20 minutes for a "staff meeting" before bringing my husband his drink. At this point, we wanted to leave, but the server had the audacity to argue that he was served the beer, and she tried to charge us for it! So frustrating.

Go next door to Wine Connection for actual service and get the same prices for wines of better quality. Robertson Quay is full of nice restaurants with a great atmosphere. It's a shame Barraka can't get it together.

Highly recommend eating at one of the many restaurants at Robertson Quay - there is a good vibe and it is not as insanely busy as Clarke Quay. You can have a nice walk along the riverside too.
