The contrast of electric lights from the city buildings and the laser show seem all that much brighter against the back drop of a pitch black sky.

This is a perfect walk to experience many of the Singapore Icons, and allows one to view the light show in the evening too! Being CNY it was very popular with families and tourists alike, but most enjoyable.

Great place for a stroll and awesome place for photography buffs where various Singapore icons can be easily seen and photographed. Look out for the Merlion Park where you can spot the mythical creature spouting water and its little cousin near by. The Marina Bay Sands hotel is another much photographed building with a ship-like sky deck. Do not miss... More

The park is generally quiet and relaxing on a weekday, it connects all the way to the Marina Bay Sands area and then to Shenton way ( Central Business District). The whole loop if you walk is about 3 plus km. At night it is really cooling and relaxing to take a stroll here. Sometimes at the Esplanade outdoor event... More

This is such a touristy spot. Iconic for Singapore, so a must see for every tourist. The Iconic Merlion is here, which is associated with Singapore. At night time when this area is lit up, its even more beautiful. Lovely to walk around in esp in good weather! 8 onwards the light and water show and laser lights from the... More

This park definitely gets less footfall than its esteemed neighbours on the Marina Bay. But that does not make it less attractive. It falls near the office area hence is not so visible. But great place to while away your time.

Located opposite the Padang and City Hall, this is one of the oldest heritage parks in Singapore. A stroll here will take you past historical landmarks like the Cenotaph and Lim Bo Seng Memorial.

Walk along the waterfront in the evening, relax with the cool breeze and quiet surroundings. It's especially romantic for couples. Enjoy the beautiful buildings all lit up with colorful lights. All the main attractions are nearby, including the Merlion, the MBS, the Helix Bridge and the downtown skyscrapers.

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
