Great atmosphere, great food! Very reasonable prices-just be wary and not go into a restaurant as the price escalates! Singa beers average at S$6.50 in the hawker centres!

China town is a market place whereby you can see and buy anything you need. I enjoy shopping and tasting fresh fruits. You can feel like Singaporean for 1-2 hours.

Pretty crowdy even on workday. Lotsa stuffs and Chinese New Year goodies on sale. Not a place for people who hates large crowds. Super jam. Reasonable food but may be catering more towards foreign tourists, ie pricey...

Great place to visit, browse, shop and eat. There are abundant stalls to do any of these things, I enjoyed it, just make sure you are on your game when you haggle with the shops.

Lots of bak-kua (dried minced pork meat) shops. Many stalls selling cute luggage tags and unique angpow packets. Can be overwhelming with visitors.

Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
