Take the time out to visit this place and admire both the inside and outside. It is quiet and peaceful and gets you away from all the busy streets around you.

Fr Ronan Murphy, during a brief stopover in Singapore, celebrated Mass on Sunday Oct 16, at St Joseph's Church. This was the 3 pm Latin Mass, and it was really inspiring to hear his homily. The following day, he celebrated the 6.30 pm Mass, giving another great homily. After Mass, he went on to deliver a one-hour talk on the... More

Built by the Portuguese and one of two churches of the same name in Singapore. Gothic facade built in the 19th century. Peaceful and quiet. There was a funeral going on at the side.

The church of St Josephs is a Catholic Church located in Victoria Street. It was built between 1906-12 in Gothic Revival Style in the shape of a Latin cross. As a catholic traveler, I often visit Catholic churches to have a silent moment in any city I travelled. In Singapore, in order to see beyond Singapore's busy city, we visited the grandour church and relied on it to be a silent place to pray. In the church, we will find many spots to pray with all Saints lined together,... More

Worth a quick visit if you are stopping by. There is a mass and from what i understood a daily rosary prayer. It isn't a touristic spot but nice to walk in and take pic of the statues

A place to see if you like Portuguese or European architecture churches. It has an open door policy and you can enter to admire its awesome interior and beautifully maintained statues of the saints. A lovely church. Do donate some money for the upkeep of the church if you so desire.
