Gardens by the bay

If you can't take the heat, I strongly suggest you plan your trip after 5pm. We did ours in the day and we were flat by evening. Also the gardens look great in the night lights.

A well-displayed variety of unusual plants, the colors and the environment are special...spend a long time walking around at various levels where the plants become artwork.

As the afternoon cools down and walking becomes attractive get out to look at these fantastic gardens. Don't just do the Super Trees or The Dome of the Cloud, but also walk the gardens and enjoy the whole area. As night falls and the lights come on, enjoy a completely different perspective and see the sights and sounds that echo... More

This is the place that you must visit if you enjoy viewing all types of flowers.TheO whole place is air-conditioned and you need not worry about the weather as you are fully protected. If you are a lover of nature you can spend hours here as there is a variety of plants and flowers.

I loved the cloud forest (which have the waterfall) more than the flowers dome. But in general, both are beautiful. Don't miss the light show at 7.45 or 8.45 daily, I'd recommend get a ticket to the bridge to have a better view of the show. For tickets, as most of Singapore attractions it'd be cheaper to book it online... More

Amazing gardens! Most of it is free to explore but there is a fee to enter the cloud and flower domes. Well worth it, especially the cloud dome. It's like a futuristic garden in there. Be sure to check out their icons, the supertrees! Free to explore the base, not a big fee to go up to their skyway. At... More

We bought the night tour for the gardens by the bay package and my kids enjoyed it, but it is best with a tour guide.

The place is free but there is a $8 fee to go up, which I strongly recommend. Yo are ushered down after 15 min so make the best of them! The best time to go is right before the sunset so that you can catch i there, and also catch the nights because it looks completely different. They also have... More

We spent a whole day looking around this beautiful garden. The Incredible flower dome and cloud forest are well worth a visit. Stunning displays. The night time light show was mesmerising and it runs twice a night.

Must do while you are holidaying in Singapore. Truly beautiful. The lights are night are amazing when they come to life. Cloud forest and its 35 metre tall mountain, the supertrees, flower dome are all natural beauties.

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
