Pleasant paths. Great place to watch sunsets & skyline. Calm waters make photo.taking easy. Parts of the walkway is idlyllic. Can still see remnants of old Kallang.

This park is connected seamlessly to the Marina Promenade and it also leads to the Sports Hub as well as the Geylang park Connector. The nearest mrt station is the Kallang mrt station. Actually I started my walk early one morning from Marina Promenade (nearest mrt is Promenade station). The walking path is beside the Marina Reservoir. Marina Promenade soon leads to Kallang Riverside Park after walking under the Merdeka Bridge. There is a great view of the Sports Hub from this park. One can also cross the Sir Arthur's Bridge to access the Katong Riverside Park which is near to the Sports Hub. There is a structural remain of the former Kallang Gasworks which was built in1862. Kallang Gasworks was no longer in use as gas production was relocated to Senoko Gasworks in 1997. There is a carpark and toilet facilities here even though the park is quite small. There are also some picnic benches and an exercise area.

Loved this place when I chanced upon it as I walked alongside the river. Good for clicks and selfies. Nice oasis amidst the concrete jungle.
