Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

TBARS is one of only a handful of still existent wartime shelters - it is also the easiest to access when open.

Unfortunately, it is rarely open.

For Singapore Art Week 2018 the space was used for an exhibition, but had not been used for some years prior, save for some special heritage tours.

On the walls outside you can read a little background before entering, but if you hope to get something out of a trip here, study up a little on your own first. The building itself is not impressive, it is more about the building's place in the context of history.

Best would be to get out your NS uniform and get full moosty.

It sits at the back of the art deco housing in Guan Chuan Street and apparently is one of the remaining war time air raid shelters. The building is unimpressive and the place has limited information and was not open and you need someone to direct you. It is virtually behind PS Café o=in Guan Chuan Street facing a car park.
