About
Virtual Room is an award-winning team VR experience (with no motion sickness!). Blending the escape room concept with a full 3D cinematic experience to deliver a unique, immersive & mind-blowing adventure lasting ~40-50 mins. Played in groups of 2, 3 or 4 players where each player has their own dedicated room - you will join each other in the virtual world where you can talk to each other, walk around, bend, throw objects and collaborate to solve the mission. With 3 missions to choose from, you and your team of 2-4 players will travel back to historical periods of time such as ancient Egypt and the moon landing to solve the challenges and save the world! In our latest mission, you even get to BE the zombies and fight for your survival! Guaranteed no motion sickness unlike inferior VR experiences (e.g. ones where you are sitting down or using poor quality VR headsets). The Virtual room was super interesting and very immersive. The game had a number of levels and it was a lot of fun trying to navigate our way through. A bummer however was that when there more than groups of 4, we have to play the game separately.

We do find 3-4 is the optimal amount of players with enough interactivity - too many would mean people waiting around to participate.

The VR room was amazing as it was great fun and very entertaining. I would Definetly recommend to anyone who wants to go. Especially groups of teens for birthday party’s or just wanting to see their friends! 5 Stars!

We came for my son’s 12th birthday. I have been a number of times before so knew how good it was going to be. It can be hard to find an appropriate VR experience for kids but this is great for about 9+ years with some adult help. I like that it’s not scary and they aren’t carrying a heavy VR pack around. The room is very safe for them. The 50 minutes goes by quickly and the problems are challenging but not too hard and require teamwork. The VR is very immersive and it’s fun to interact with each other. Our Game Supervisor - Ashley was also helpful and was able to diffuse a potential argument between my son and his best friend when there was an “misuse” of the cool selfie stick photo time at the end. He solved the problem and saved the day. Thanks again.

My first time ever VR experience, coming from someone who has never even played on consoles and it took my breath away. Had an eight year old with us and he enjoyed it immensely. Darsh was patient, friendly and efficient. The place is a bit hidden but easy enough to find. Highly recommended.

Well designed and fun games with great graphics. Highly recommend. Best enjoyed in groups of 4 as that is how the games are set up, but was equally as fun when I did in group of 2 and 3. Some good lateral thinking required in the puzzles too.

Fun and something totally different, but we were finished within 30 minutes. If you've played any sort of video game then mission one is super simple.
Headset is wired from above, not wireless, so you easily get tangled as the room is pretty small and therefore requires alot of spinning around.
I'd like to think we will go back to attempt the second mission but cant help but feel that the normal locked in a room games might be a better option

This is my second visit because I had a great time at my first. Overall, to be fair, we as a family enjoyed ourselves. However, there were a few glitches that should be looked into:
- a few of us were physically constrained to reach objects in the game because of the length of the cable connected to the headset. I personally had to call the game controller and it took some time before she came in to lengthen the cable. Even at max. length I could not reach some items. How do enjoy playing the game when we can't reach to grab the item?
- on a few occasions my VR set went completely blank. This was very annoying as it spoils the entire experience. Explanation given was that it had something to do with being too close to the base station. If they knew what was wrong, shouldn't that be rectified?
The staff was pleasant but there were no attempts at service recovery at all. It was more like

Thanks for coming back and we are glad your family had a good time. Apologies to hear that your individual room had some trouble with the cables - this is the first time we have had feedback about finding it hard to reach the items. We are going through a thorough test of the room you played in to make sure everything is working correctly.
Staff have also been reminded that in the event of any headset issue they should move the customer to another room.
Again we are very sorry to hear of this experience and are testing everything to ensure it does not happen in the future.
Hope to see you back soon when we launch our 2nd mission.

Had a brilliant time with our family. Terry was super helpful and patient with us. The children had such a good time they stayed on and played another game.

Hello no we don't have wheelchairs available. We do have elevator access to our premise and chairs where they could sit while you play the experience.

we are a couple alongwith 2 kids age 5 and 9. is it advisable to try virtual room ?

HI there unfortunately our minimum recommended age is 10+ - we could let the 9 year old join the experience, the 5 year old will be too young though. However, we have very lovely staff who could happily host the 5 year old and get them to be a "game master" where they can watch on our computer screens what you are doing in the game. They could also talk to you while you play. There is no extra charge for this. If you are interested please email us to request.
