The cookery magic lesson was the best cookery lesson I have done. With my husband and adult daughter we spent a hugely enjoyable morning learning three dishes and picking up lots of useful tips along the way. At the end the proof of the pudding was in the eating and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious lunch we had cooked. Many... More

If you have time on your trip to Singapore and enjoy cooking I would definitely recommend this cooking class with Ruqxana. It was very informative and was such a great experience. The food was delicious! It is very fun to do with a group of friends/whoever you're traveling with. She taught you about the plants that you cooked with while... More

The teacher gets straight to the point with a smile and firm cooking skills, you learn while chatting in a beautiful typical home. Seemed to go by too fast. The meal was really good, although i have a lot to learn

My sister and I attended the Malaysian class. On arrival don't be alarmed there is no sign out the front and YES it is a little old house from the front. Once inside and the class starts it's excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

My husband has taken a number of Ruqxana's classes on business trips over the years bringing back great stories and great food. This was our first together and it was wonderful. Beautiful setting in a (sadly ever more rare) classic Singapore home, with indoor/outdoor kitchen and culinary garden at hand. Relatively small (about 10) but diverse (teens and parents and... More

My husband and I recently visited Singapore, and we spent the first day cooking delicious Thai food with Ruqxana in her beautiful home. She was incredibly accommodating and willing to customize the experience to meet our dietary needs (vegetarian). This was the best thing we did in Singapore and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable way... More

Booked a market visit and cooking class during a mother daughter trip to Singapore. In my opinion this is a "must do" experience expensive but well worth the cost.We met Ruqxana at the Gellang market where we spent a very enjoyable couple of hours being shown around and chosing the food we were going to cook. What a great time we had... My fiancee and I took Ruqxana's Nonya Laksa and Chicken Satay with Peanut sauce cooking class in July 2013. We were wondering how much we would really get out of this as we do a LOT of cooking at home including a lot of Asian food. However we learnt a lot of great tips such as final adjusting tricks, putting... More

This is an intense learning experience! We prepared and cooked for three hours on a covered patio outside with at least twelve gas stoves going. So it was extremely hot! Ruqxana is a great teacher! The food we prepared in the Malay Food Cooking Class was excellent! I would do it again without even blinking!
