Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From the outside, it's a beautiful building. However, due to ongoing works, I was not allowed to enter. Oddly enough, several years ago, I wasn't allowed in because my dressing was inappropriate.
I shall not allow myself to be disheartened, and will be sure to attempt another time for my next visit to Singapore!

It's a nice building of the old parliament. As far as I know it is not open for visits so if you are in the area, you can just admire it from outside and why not taking a photo as well

The Singapore Parliament is just that- the legislative institution for Singapore. It is in a great location (of course) in a slightly unassuming building. It is directly opposite the other branch of government, the judiciary [the quirky Supreme Court]. The SG Parliament is good for photos and makes a nice backdrop. Also, you can enter the Parliament via a side entrance [on the Supreme Court side] and has a gift shop, some historical artefacts and you can view proceedings should they be happening at the time of your visit.

We visited this place on our way to Clarke quay. Didn't get inside but outside view tells it's a modest structure surrounded by mordern skyscrapers.

The new building of the Parliament is extremely ugly, the old looks much better. I did not go inside.

Nothing particularly great about the building, except it’s importance to Singapore. It was built in 1999, as the old parliament was not big enough.

we were walking along the river and came to this nice looking building with lots of space around it. Not imposing - we were able to take photos from many angles and even able to get up relatively close. The architecture is fairly simple using lots of colonial styles. Good signage nearby explaining the building and what it represents.

Could only view it from the outside but the easy access / visibility is a world apart from the layers of security which surround Parliament House in India!
