- Brown_SamanthaKennewick, Washington1,791 contributionsNice fine sand beach with restaurants and cafes nearbyThis is the first beach we came across after getting off the cable car at the Siloso Station. Even though our hotel concierge told us the beach is "man made", it did not diminish how beautiful it is. Very clean and not really crowded at all. Could be because we visited on a weekday. We found the big Siloso sign to take photographs. Enjoyed some coconut ice cream and made a nice walk out of it.Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 17 March 2024

Myself, Mum and Boyfriend naturally walked down here from our hotel while we were staying on Sentosa Island and couldn't believe this beach was man made. The first thing we did was look for and take a photo at the iconic Siloso beach sign and then went for a walk along the beach. On the beach is a zipline and plenty of beach bars and restaurants along the shoreline.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 August 2024

If you enjoy roasting like a barbeque chicken in a hot oven you will like sentosa island and the beach. We visited in August 2024 and it was 31 degrees - average temperature for that time of year (actually any time of the year in Singapore). The heat and humidity was unbearable. We could not wait to get off sentosa island. There is no airconditioning anywhere to escape the heat except for one tiny room at the far end of the beach that holds about 4 small tables for dining - it was always full we could never get in. There was another building in the middle of the beach but it was closed off and closed during the day! The prices are very expensive. I would not recommend Sentosa Beach or Island to anyone who does not like extreme heat.

The beach is idyllic, beautiful white sands, warm sea and ultra clean.
Unfortunately as we dipped into the water, my daughter was stung by a jelly fish. There were signs warning this was a rare occurrence and if it happened to seek help from the beach patrol which we did.
David Hui was superb. He was remarkably quick to treat her and stayed with her continually tending to her stings until he was satisfied that she was comfortable. In total he stayed with us for 2-2.5 hours. We were really confident in him and he couldn’t have done more.

It's one of the best beaches in Sentosa.
Have lots of things and activities to do like luge, skydiving, wavefront surfing and many more.
Most of the time govt organises different events on beaches to attract tourists.

You can go their either by private taxi or cable car to Sentosa Island. You can walk to the beach from the Taxi stand. You’ve got everything on this beach from water sports to adventure sports to plain hangout places for the entire family. keep bottles of water with as it can be very hot and humid during the day time. The sunset here is something you wouldn’t want to miss so plan your day accordingly.

Was told could not swim due to lightning detected an hour ago a long way away. I checked the weather radar, there was no thunderstorms within 50km, and no visible storm clouds by sight. Overly conservative, and unwilling to use commonsense. When I left 2hrs later the beach was still closed with still no weather around.

This is one of the prominent beach at sentosa island. Since I was a kid, I have been visiting. Of course over the years, upgrades have been made and these days, it’s even more beautiful and modern. Many facilities and restaurants have been opened here and this offers patrons more food options. I especially like having a good afternoon lunch here, watching time passed and enjoy the beach view. Always give me that resort and holiday feel.

My wife was like if I'm on a tropical island, I'm going to the beach. The thing we enjoyed the most on Sentosa was the beach. We both enjoyed being on the sand as well as cooling off in the water, especially after the hike up Imbiah. It was amazing to see how the tide changes during the day with the steep banked beach. They have great restrooms with showers, so feel comfortable to take you bathing suit as a change of clothes. There is a restaurant on site as well as several activities. However, we simply enjoyed some time in the sun on the beach.

The beach area itself is not a separately ticketed entry. You have to get onto Sentosa which may involve paying - if you enter by monorail (Sentosa Express) or cable car. Those method as well as taxis and buses over include any entry fee in the price of transport. If you go across by the boardwalk its currently free and has been for a long time, but they have charged in the past (1SGD into an entry gate or by EZlink last there was a charge that I remember). However, once on Sentosa it costs you nothing just to go on the beach.
