Decided not to do it

This was on our must do list but after seeing riders and horses road side decided this was not for us, prefer to ride bush and beach.

I had an enjoyable 1 hr ride which took me to the highest point on the Island. The horse was great and very easy to control. The guide didn't speak much English but then again I don't speak Philipino so I can't complain. I would of liked to have taken the 2 hr ride and ride along the beach but... More

You need to ride a tricycle in order to get here , just tell the tricycle driver to drop u off on this place and u may ask some friendly local too. The guide that was assigned to bring me til Mt. Luho to the end point was very friendly. The horse that was rented for me was so cute... More

Horrible: -facilitys -guides -horse knowledge (when I told them the horse was lame they said he was fine - he wasn't!) -conditions of the horses -hoof care -water supplies (none there, did the pinch test on the horses neck..they were lacking water) -they didn't question my riding abilites (I'm a qualified dressage, showjumping rider from germany) -no helmets -saddles didn't... I'd pass on this activity. These were the smallest and lamest horses I ever rode. My guide had to keep smacking and dragging the horse to get him to move at a faster pace. I could have walked faster than my horse.

Contacted the stabled direct and booked, (vendors on beach or tourist activity centres are charging almost double). Arrived at the stables and was given a waiver to sign, basically if you fell off it was your own fault! Horses were prepared and we set off on a two hour trek over mount Luho to the beach, this road passes dreamland... More

We took a 1 hour ride to a scenic point to take pictures. The horses and the stable looked fine but I just feel bad as the staff and the horses were so nice and they looked after us so well. But it was a dissapointment in the sense that the trail was preety much on the road surrounded but... More

Even though the stables and equipment is quite primitive, the horses look well cared for. They are stallions, but they were complitely cool. My horse got a little bit nervous in the traffic, but it was no problem to just sit there and keep him calm. My dad rode for the first time in his life and he was happy.... More

Friendly guides. I wanted to try horseback riding only once but had to extend my stay because I loved the experience.

all pictures would show people riding the horses on the beach, but you'll be fooled because that would only be the case if you take the longer option (in our case, we took the shorter 1 hr ride).. the trail is so bad because you'll pass by the land fill and share the road with the ATVs and will inhale...
