The Loboc River Cruise was part of a day tour I did. We came here for lunch. The lunch was provided on the boats, which casually cruised down the Loboc River. Views were spectacular. The river was beautiful, very tropical. Lunch on the boat was pretty good. Overall it was a great experience, I highly recommend it.

We didn't do the boat tour as it's not our thing, but the paddle board/ kayak tour are really worth it.
It's indeed a very pretty river and peaceful environment. Much appreciated.

One of the most extraordinary experiences I've ever had. Wait for the sunset and pay a local 500 pesos each (quite pricey) and they will take you to a Firefly tree where you will see hundreds of females gather across a small section of tree. The males fly in and out looking for the good stuff. If your lucky like us there won't be a cloud in the sky and you will greeted with the most romantic display of star and firefly glow. Biggest surprise/pleasure of our 3 week trip around the Philippines.

I am giving it 5 stars because I knew what I was going into. So unlike the other reviews- I did not expect an adventure or anything of that sort :)

This is a nice way to see the Loboc river. After a busy morning countryside tour, this is a great way to rest and take a break to have lunch. You also get to see the locals perform some traditional dance. I also did not expect a mind-blowing buffet lunch- so the simple adobo, pansit and some fruits were a treat. A bottle of beer on the way back was great. We shared a table with a nice guy from Australia, chatted during the cruise so yes, this is also a chance for you to meet some fellow tourists/adventurers.

Make use of the time and enjoy to your heart's out. Make a difference.

My nephew is always making a way on his own. Create and enjoy. He tried to persuade a group of kids who were expert in handling the canoe or bangka. Yes with a monetary equivalent they got it going. He truly enjoyed that moment and was proud to show to us what he did.

That did not take long... but the way he did it was another nice experience even for others to try.

This is a nice place to have your lunch in Bohol. You get to see the locals along the river, minding their own business. Some kids play in the river and some of them jump off the tree into the water. How I wish I live near a clean river like this one...

You don't need a booking to take the cruise. Just go there and you'll be fine, they are quite organized. If you are not in a big group you'll be sharing a table with other tourists.

cruise + all you can eat buffet lunch for about 9 USD

2 hours in total, cruising in the middle of a forest with small houses and local people on the shore, food is good.

We stayed in Lobok next to the river in two different hotels. We did a couple of SUP tours on the river which were amazing. Playing with the children and swinging from ropes attached to palm trees into the water was excellent. You can also explore the river with waterbikes or on a floating restaurant which takes you down the river while food is being served with live music. Expect a lot of chinese on the floating restaurants.
It's also possible to zipline over the river with amazing speed and views!

I took the river lunch cruise with my SO as part of a wider tour.

The cruise itself was simple, but the food choices were a bit simplistic given the price. Decent selection, but would've been made better with a couple more main course buffet options.

It was a bit of a wait queuing up to actually board the boats, and they do force you to share with others if there aren't four of you in your room (We were luckily paired with another decent couple, but would've preferred a more romantic setting tabled their by ourselves.)

All in all, a reasonably scenic view and a decent experience.
