Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Binuatan weaving center is the place to buy locally made souvenirs that are reasonably priced and beautiful. They have small items like bookmarks for only P 15.00 each. You can also watch the enthusiastic weavers at work.

The exciting part here is that we were able to try how to create the bags they were selling. It's a cool experience since it is part of our Filipino culture. Products were very nice and has a world class design. Really should be imported in other country to promote Philippine products. Staff were also nice :)

I stood beside one woman worker doing a table runner, and by merely looking at it, I know it isn't an easy job. The woman said it takes 5-6 hours to finish one table runner. They use Buri and Pandan for their products. These Buri and Pandan, are local plants that grow in mountain areas of Palawan. The care taker told me they buy these raw items per kilo ,from the people from the mountain . They dye and make products like bags, mat, table runners, etc. During summer, they have workers like students who they trained for the task. The woman there also told me they supply these items to Rustans, so imagine how much these items will be when they reached Rustans Store, so yes, to patronize local product I bought myself a handbag and table runner.

The place seems to be not that famous as our tour guide habe not heard about it until I asked him to brimg us there. We were again early, my wife was only suppose to check native stuff but we were surprised as a girl approached us and welcomed us. My wife even had a short introduction to weaving and tutorial which made our visit extra special. Souvenirs and a lot of their products where available from wallets to bags, name it and they might have it, what makes it really good is the low price of the merchandise. This is a must stop of you will visit Puerto Princessa. KUDOS.

It is a good place to visit if you love handicraft. The people there was welcoming and very accomodating. They let us try on how to make their products. It is fun to try what they're doing. The handicraft they made was beautiful.

it's a worthy stop to see how the weaving is done with local and endemic grasses that are dyed. They make very colorful place mats, tables runners, flip flops, note book covers, purses (many different sizes). The prices are extremely reasonable and the items make wonderful gifts. It's amazing to see how quickly these people work. We tried it and failed miserably.

A nice stop on the way to Baker's Hill. It is a workshop for handloom weaving where products such as bags, purse, place mats, table runners and small souvenirs are made. There are guides to bring you around to see some of the workers working on the handlooms. A nice place to shop for local souvenirs.

When ever we come to palawan we always visit this lovely craft centre. Every body is so friendly and are more than happy for you to have a go on the loom. The quality of their product is also good and we purchased several pieces there to take home. Always a pleasure to visit there. It opened in 2006 an is still going strong. If you visit buy a litle something to help this loverly craft survive,
