This review is for the Sunset at Las Cabanas - at the very end of the strip.
They had a perfect view of the sunset settling by the mountain islands (or rock mountains I am not quite sure) and the sea. It was a perfect place to have some quiet dinner date or relaxed hang out with your friends. Unfortunately, it was cloudy during our visit so we didn’t get to take a photo of the actual sunset.
For the service, I have no complains. They are very attentive, very friendly, and very quick. They even offered taking our picture by the beach since they noticed that my partner and I are struggling to take good selfies.
For the food, it was pretty decent. We ordered (i forgot the official name but here is the closest i can compare it with) lechon kawali with mexican rice and patatas bravas. For the drinks - beer (corona) and mango shake. I wouldn’t say it was top quality but it’s not bad as well.
Will definitely come back for a great overall experience!

It takes about a 5-7 minute walk from Maremegmeg beach club and beach shack to reach Las Cabañas and oh boy is it worth the hike! The view of the sunset from here is nothing short of spectacular as it is located at the very tip of the island! The view of the bay is more than 180 degrees from here which makes it even more fantastic.
There is a newly opened beach bar aptly named Sunset at Las Cabañas serving Mexican fare - tacos, quesadillas and such. Their cocktails are a pleasant surprise as they use only premium liquor. Happy hour drinks are half the price and you get priceless views.

We went to Las Cabanas Beach (now called "White Beach" I believe) to view a sunset.
We droned the whole area and got some great video and stills.

Las Cabanas beach in my opinion is one of the better beaches around El Nido. It has a lively atmosphere with beach bars and shops and is also great for Sunset!!
A must activity on the beach is the Zip-Line from the main beach to the little island across from the beach is well worth it.

We walked to the beach from Vanilla beach, lovely beach with soft white sand. Very shallow sea with beautiful clear water. Nice and quiet on the day we visited

Definitely a must-visit place in El Nido for the beautiful view of the sunset. The beach is still in progress of debelopment but already has a lot of restaurants and spas. You can go to this place early right after a tour, eat, and wait for the sunset. There's just a very calming feeling watching the sun set while at this place. LOCAL PROVISIONS restaurant is where we had our early dinner and the food was amazing.

The small strip of beach was crowded and the water wasn't clean. The restaurant we went to along the beach was so over priced (400P for a bottle of water)
Wouldn't go back in a rush

Basic but great views. This is where the sun sets, limited seats so start grabbing them early and have an incredible view

I would like to know if it is safe for back packers in the Philippines?
Christopher S

It is safe, and previous responses are correct about theft etc. But, be forewarned, the Philippines is not "backpacker friendly". What I mean is, if you go to Thailand, Cambodia, etc., there are multitudes of hostels, cheap accommodations, cheap eats...things are geared towards backpackers. Philippines is getting there, yes, but its not quite there. Accommodations are anywhere from double to triple what a Thai or Cambodian place will cost. We, Canadians, were paying over $20 CAD each night in the cheapest of accommodations, whereas anywhere else was quite cheap. We spent 3 weeks in North and Central South in Feb and Mar 2016...message me if you want to know where to go and what to see.

Oi Andrea, você poderia indicar um hotel próximo desta praia?

Bom dia,
-Orange Pearl Beach Resort
-Dolarog Resort
-The Resort Bayview Hotel
-Desert Rose Hotel
-El Nido Four Season's Beach Resort
-Stunning Vistas Beach Resort
-El Nido Overlooking
-Telesfora Beach Cottages
-Islandfront Cottages & Restaurant
-Pa-Lao-Yu Dive Resort El Nido
Um abraço e boa viagem,
Viviane
