- richo7013 contributionsBeautiful beach and great for sunsetA must if you have a day (or half day) spare in El Nido. Beautiful empty beach and a nice walk from end to end (4km each way). We were lucky enough to see the sunset. It will definitely be factored into our next visit 👍Visited January 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 25 January 2023
- PWH50Crawley, United Kingdom357 contributionsA day at this beautiful beachThe sand is pristine and the colours wonderful of the sea and lush green foliage of the coconut trees. However, on our visit the red flags were out and so one was allowed only to paddle basically to stay safe. A pity, I’m not sure how frequently bathing is restricted and how to check this out on line. You normally get here by trike which is fine but the road is partially a track only so be warned you’ll be in for a bumpy ride.Visited January 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 30 January 2023
- Annie GarciaMetro Manila, Philippines229 contributionsNacpan 2023 wth the FamBamNacpan Beach is a public beach but it was amazingly beautiful, it was a surprise for all of us. We went for ATV ride and too it was fun, a little bit expensive but it was fun. The restaurant around has a good variety of food, so far we had fun and amazing day.Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 19 February 2023
- L11United Kingdom174 contributionsBeautiful golden sand, a chance to escape people if you wish!We travelled by tuktuk from corong corong (600 pesos one way; tuktuks from Nacpan are more expensive- told 1000 pesos one way but bartered down to 800). It took 45 minutes. The beach is lovely and clean for the majority of it; golden sands, palm tree lined. The waves were huge when we were there and the red flags up so swimming wasn’t so easy but I’d imagine on calmer days the swimming is glorious. We walked the entire length of the beach and it doesn’t take long to get away from everyone and have your own secluded bit of sand. There is shade from palm trees along the beach and you can also hire parasol and loungers. There were more restaurants there than we were expecting. It wasn’t really busy but there were a few tourists around. The sunset was beautiful and silvery! It’s a shame about the ATVs who I can only assume are for lazy people who can’t be bothered to walk the length of the beach but want to see it so jump on noisy vehicles and ruin the calm, peaceful serene experience others wish for. The tyre marks ruin the look of the beach too.Visited February 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 1 March 2023
- JeffPhilippines6 contributionsBest Beach everHey there! Have you heard about Nacpan Beach Resort in Palawan? I just got back from there and I have to tell you, it was one of the best experiences of my life! The resort is located in this amazing area, And the staff there were so friendly and welcoming, they really made me feel at home. And the beach...wow! Nacpan Beach is absolutely stunning, with its soft white sand, it providing the perfect shade. I spent hours just lounging on the beach, taking in the amazing views and soaking up the sun. One of the highlights of my trip was taking a boat tour around the neighboring islands. We got to see hidden lagoons and coral reefs that were just teeming with marine life. It was like something out of a dream! Overall, I highly recommend Nacpan Beach Resort enough. It's a true slice of paradise and if you're ever in Palawan, you definitely need to check it out!Visited March 2023Travelled soloWritten 31 March 2023

- heckfy1,234 contributionsA classic secluded beachThis is a classic island beach you probably dreamed of. A few miles of nice sand and relatively shallow water, clean, not crowded, with a few restaurants and places to stay. They effectively sacrificed a smaller beach nearby for the boats, fishing and other activities and keep a village a bit away so this beach well taken care of. On the flip side, if you're not satisfied with sand, sun and water and food, there is not much else to do. So it's perfect for a day trip or a short stay, but if you think about an extended stay, you might find it too secluded.Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 25 June 2023

Good for long walks on a sunny rather humid day. ATV’s , peddlers of goods and several beach goers abound. If you’re lucky it is positioned for a nice sunset view.Visited August 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 7 August 2023

It's known for having the world's most beautiful sunsets. We've only traveled to Japan and South Korea in the past, so we decided to explore Southeast Asia this time. Indeed, it was stunning and unlike anything I'd ever experienced in Chicago. Experiencing a sunset here is a must in life; it brings unexpected joys.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 25 September 2023
- Chris M41 contributionsNot worth the driveWe heard about this beach being one of the top beaches in Asia and had to check it out. The rides about an hour from town . The first half of the ride is ant bad going threw some smaller towns. But the second half of the ride really sucks. Bad roads, huge mud puddles and have to go slow. The beach is nice but I personally don’t think worth an hour ride each way. I would recommend vanilla beach south if the main town of El nido. Go down to Los Cabanas and keep walking. No body on that beach. Crystal clear water and a way better view then NacPan beach.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 October 2023

Nacpan and twin beach are right next to each other and there are plenty of services here. There are also quite a lot of tourists, and thus the services also stand out from the good restaurants. It is a reasonable distance from El Nido and the road to get there is not the best in the world as there are sandy sections between the paved road. You can easily get there by scooter, and if you're looking for real peace, then drive to Dul right away.

I enjoyed Nacpan beach. For me I hired a scooter and made the solo ride 25km out of El Nido along the main road to dirt road turn off. This road is rocky and not that good but super easy to negotiate even on scooter. You arrive at a tourist information booth and asked to sign and hand over 50pp.
The beach is very long and wide. I arrived early to see only several people here. It took me close to two hours meandering my way along the beach end to end. Really nice beach walk.
As I returned there were probably 80-90 people with more arriving. The ocean was fairly rough, big waves and strong current not ideal for luxury swim but great to bask.
There is food and drink available from beach side hut. Worth heading here to escape the El Nido mayhem.

It’s a beach with fabulous view and of course with less number of tourists around.
We went few times for long walks during sun sets and the timing was good.
This beach can be better taken care of. I saw few people riding their motor bikes on the beach and also litter and trash during low tide.

Ciao a tutti.

Hi Walter,
We stayed in two places, North and South of the airport. We stayed in Nacpan Beach, where you can swim freely. However it is about 40 minutes of rough road to get there. South of the airport, Viewdeck Cottages, we were about 15-20 minute walk to the town center. I don't think you can swim at the beaches there as the boats are coming in and out. We hired a boat to take us island hopping and scuba diving. It's really the best way to go to see the ocean blues or the turquoise teal.
Below are the places we stayed at:
Airbnb - The One and Only at Nacpan Beach, EL NIDO
El Nido Viewdeck
Hope that helps a bit.
Enjoy your travels!

Hi. You probably can make arrangements with your accommodation. They isn't a "place" to rent it. We rented from our AirBNB in Nacpan Beach.

We went by motorbike but if you want, you can take a tuc, tuc at el nido.
Are there any options in Nacpan to do the island hopping tours that regularly depart from El Nido? We are planning to stay 4 nights in Nacpan but want to be sure we would be able to access the islands even paying a little more.

I am not too sure about island hopping in Nacpan. We hired a motorcycle from El Nido to Nacpan beach. And most of the tours depart at El Nido unless you hire a private boat from Nacpan. Your hotel should be able to help you.
Is there much access to free wifi around Nacpan Beach? Or near Mad Monkey Hostel? TIA

What can we do in El Nido (Nacpan Beach) at night time?

You can go to bars like The Mad Monkeys. If you have ride, you can also go to the town, there are several bars and restaurants there. Puka Bar and Sava is a must try. You better stay in El Nido Town proper and just go to Nacpan during day time, in town there are more choices of restaurants, bars, island hoping and other activity than staying in islands which have limited options and expensive.

Are there any stand-up paddle boards to rent there?

yes
how long is the beach
Darvin E. Chia
Boracay, Philippines177 contributions
Its the longest beach area in El Nido, the next longest is in San Vicente. 4kms.
Nacpan Beach is a 4-km strip of powdery paradise north of El Nido town proper. The coconut lined beach faces a small cove next to Base Bay. The stretch runs southward to meet its twin — Calitang Beach. Together, they form a cape that sticks out to the sea that can get rough without warning. A small, palm crowned, grass-covered hill marks the spot where the two ivory beaches meet. Small islands dotting the bay can also be seen clearly from the beach.

You could find someone to drive you on a tricycle. Have them stick around if you don't want to get left there.
