Turn back time when I was in El Nido, I took Tour A to explore El Nido. The first destination was Simizu Island. It has white sand beach and the sky was so clear at that time, so I made a nice picture of it.

We had our lunch at these beautiful island. Its a place away from noise from pollution and with the delicious and fresh food we ate we are in a paradise. A nice place to meditate and listen to the sound of silence.

We stayed here for snorkelling and lunch as part of Tour A, and it's one of the best snorkelling sites in El Nido. We got life jackets for the kids and they loved the snorkelling and all the marine life. The current was quite strong when we went here but we kept pretty close to the banca boat so it... More

We went here for snorkeling. Marine life was very diverse and the corals looked really beautiful. Much as we want to stay longer, we were only allowed to snorkel for roughly 30 minutes. Try feeding the fishes with bread then swim and be surrounded by them, you're gonna love it :)

Not the best snorkeling reef but the turquoise waters make up for the great experience. Just go when there's no crowd.

The last island we visited was Simizu Island where historically a Japanese straggler was found such that Japan funded the maintenance of the island for sometime. Interestingly the limestone mountains that lined the island had beautiful carved edges making it look like a natural curtain. For a geologist, one marvels at the various colors of the rock formation....orange, red, brown... More

Simizu Island is on Tour "A" and no doubt this island is the best for snorkeling in El Nido, there were hundreds of coral fish and marine life... we had our best time here... I wish we could stay more but we had to leave for an other spot,, Don't forget to bring your waterproof camera or sport camera alone... More

Had a stopover on this beach for lunch, and as with the number of beaches seen, this one is as nice as any other. Good back drop, rock formation is awesome, and easily accessible.

Shimizu Island was such a beautiful place to go snorkeling. The water was so clear and there are a variety of fishes and coral beneath you. I wish I had a Go Pro for this to show you what I saw, but I guess you'll just have to go there for yourself to see!

Went Island Hopping with my family and we visited like 6 islands... This is where we ate our lunch wonderfully prepared by our boat captain and tour guide... Good food, friendly people and just amazing experience.
