Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This island with a snaking sandbar is gorgeous and surrounded by crystal clear azure waters. It also has a small store where you can buy beers or refill your cooler.

Although too many people recommends tour A and C . On tour B you pass by this island, and in my opinion is one of the best together with big lagoon .
The earlier the better as later gets full of tourist , make sure you climb the small hill as the view gets spectacular!

Out of the islands I went to on Tour A and B, this is the only island I liked. Maybe because there weren't hoards of people there.

The water is beautiful and the sandbar is cool to walk across. The water level was high so the sandbar was about 2 feet underwater. No biggie, it was still cool to visit. There isn't much to do there other than photo ops. Not much to see while snorkeling. There is a small hike to an observation point.

As nice as it is, how many boats can be moored at snake Island?
We counted 36. And, if there was more demand, there would be more.
Sadly, the crowd of tourists diminished what could have been an enjoyable outing.

If this place found itself anywhere else in the world I would have probably rated “very beautiful” or “wonderful”; but you know what? El Nido is paradise and once you bump into Hidden Beach, Secret Beach, Star Beach pretty much all the remaining marvelous spot become somewhat … dull!

We enjoyed walking along the sandbar with crystal clear and blue water surrounding us. Also, the view from the top of the hill is not to be missed.

Don't worry no snakes, just a beautiful island with a man paddling around selling coconuts and cold drinks, super cute. Nice to take a dip in the shallow ocean. Again beautiful view but not much to do. Worth a short stop

I've visited twice and this has been a stop on both boat tours and I'm still left wondering why. It is a sandbar with a tiny little piece of land that you can climb to the top of in 2 minutes. Don't see the point of the stop when there are so many other places to go.

We did 2 water tours with Discover El Nido which was an amazing group. One tour was tour A and I can't recall the other one. We took their suggestion based on water conditions on which tour to take. That tour was the one that included Snake Island. Snake Island itself is more of a sand bar with a short hike up to the top of one island for the views. There was no snorkeling at this particular location. My sister who is a snorkeling fanatic was able to snorkel at about 4 out of the 7 or 8 stops we made at this particular tour. Lots of sea life to see in the snorkel spots. Especially if you are the type of snorkeler who will dive down and get up close to the coral. If not, bring a go pro camera and your tour guide, Ruben, will take amazing footage with your go pro of all the different sea life below. One of the perks of going with this tour company is that their cook is amazing. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. lol
We didn't stay long enough to fit in a visit to Nacpan Beach but that was our backup plan if the waters were too rough for the boats. We stayed at El Nido town at Lagun Hotel. It's newer and the facilities are clean, well decorated, and the staff was the epitome of hospitality. Highly recommend staying there!
As for staying overnight at the islands on the tour, I don't think it is possible. They are pretty rural and no accommodations for tourists that I can recall. The rule was always leave nothing and take nothing to preserve the beaches as much as possible. Most tours end by 5 pmish and every start and end of the tour, the boats have to check in and out with the Coast Guard with passenger manifests.
