Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great museum history that you must visit. This place as a witness formulation of proclamation of Indonesian inpendence was drafted. Entrance fee for adults IDR 2.000/person, Children IDR 1.000/person, foreigners IDR 10.000/person. Open daily 08.00 AM to 04.00 PM, except Monday and National Holiday is close. Easy to access with public transportation especially Transjakarta Busway. You can take Transjakarta Busway Pulo Gadung - Grogol and Kampung Melayu - Grogol line and stop in Museum Perumusan Naskah Proklamasi shelter. #HistoricalPlace

If you love to the history of Jakarta, this is the place you must go. There is an entry fee of IDR 10,000 for the foreigners. You have to spent around an hour to see and read all the things in this museum.

This former British Consul building & Japanese Navy Officer Private House were interestingly far from the image of museum you would met at Jakarta nowadays. it was more like a little house when you could spent the time laughing and playing while hearing the old BBC or NIROM broadcast playing Alexander's Ragtime Band.

According to history, Proklamasi text was composed in Admiral Maeda's house. Admiral Maeda was Japanese navy who fully supported Indonesia freedom. This museum was actually Admiral Maeda's house.

According to history as well, the authentic Proklamasi text was written in handwriting. Then 3 months after August 1945, Sayuti Melik found the Proklamasi text on garbage. Being an RRI radio journalist, Sayuti Melik typed the Proklamasi text in typing machine. But I don't know why in this museum & in Soekarno movie portrayed Sayuti Melik was present at Admiral Maeda's house as the Proklamasi text typist.
