I made a big mistake visiting this place in midday. So darn hot. It is a very long walk from gate to Monas, they have shuttle bus, but very limited and the queue took forever.

It's a nice monument to visit at least for the 360 view of Jakarta. Short history about Jakarta before going to the top.

Very educational. Out tour guide was very knowledgeable. We were able to go to the top where we have a 360° view of the city. We were invited to go downstairs and receive more information.

If you wait for the little transportation bus they have when you enter; it will take you directly to where you have to enter. Great place to go to see and read about Indonesian history and it's struggle for independence.
