Located on the northest jakarta, this museum not far awayy from other museum (Fattahilah, bahari, fine art&gallery) quiet interesting because it showed many puppets and wayang from Indonesia. It is very interesting and you might catch a glimpse of the craftsman making the puppets. The down side of it is not all explanations are in english and some explanations are missing.

Aircon is not working. Old building with contain cultural puppet collection & attraction from whole around Indonesia province. Area surounding is very dirty with trash. Many bum.

It is all about Indonesian puppets, I enjoyed it and took some nice photos and bought some.nice souvenirs but the place itself need maintenance

A puppet museum located near other interesting museums in Old Town. A nice place to learn about Indonesian culture and history. The entrance fee is cheap

When I was at the museum, the curator was there and he was very informative about the exhibits. I suggest you either call the museum or turn up and ask to speak to him
