Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

GBK is the biggest stadium in Jakarta. Sometimes it is used to run a music concert also. In the afternoon, people often come to GBK to do exercise. At the outside stadium ring, there are a lot of exercise activities, such as, Zumba, Yoga, Aerobic, etc.

One stop "healthy" place.
From soccer, swimming pool, running track, baseball court, pound fit arena, to concert hall. Name it! If you wanna stay fit and wanna do any kind of sports, just come here. I guess it is big anough for more than 30,000 people. And not just for sport, it is also has food arena with wide range of choices (and affordable price also). You will love this place and will spend more than half day to run around all GBK arena. My only complaint is some people like to dirty the place. Please be considerate even in public area. (especially in the toilet, kinda dirty :()

I came to this place to search something and when I pass this place, it's so huge, a lot of park lot. But when there is large event, need more entrance gate / exit gate.

Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) is a famous sports complex among Indonesian. I jog twice a week after office hours. The place is OK for doing sports. There is also a public aerobic class every Wed and Fri which costs you IDR 5,000 (it's damn cheap for 2 hrs body exercise) and i love it. Moreover, in Gate VII there are lockers. The lockers are very minimalist. It's only like thin wood with key but it's enough to keep your backpack or towel. It cost you IDR 5,000 for 1 locker.
however, what disturbs me is the toilet. Very very poor and disgusting. Dirty and there's also brown thick stain in the toilet and smelly. I try to hold my breath every time i change clothes in there.
Outside the complex there are a lot of food stalls selling "nasi pecel" well not bad tho for the food. It may not be very hygienic but it tastes good.

They should build an underground parking ground though, so we still can have huge greenery and enough parking space. The shuttle service is very good.

Gelora Bung Karno Stadium is a football (soccer) stadium, named after Indonesia's 1st President (Sukarno). During his presidency, he asked Russians to help build the architecture and design of the football stadium.
When it was finished and opened for 1965 Sea Games, Indonesia stood proud having the grandest football stadium among other South East Asian countries.
Up to this date, this football stadium still rank as top 10th in the world for biggest audience capacity. The stadium used to hold around 108,000 seats, but its now being renovated and it hold roughly around 86,000 seats.
For me, the stadium stood as an icon of Indonesia's glory years.
I finally got a chance to step inside the stadium last year, as I was involved in 2011 Sea Games.

It's always fascinating to watch football games here; you get the atmosphere, you get the spirit, you see the players and famous people, including the president. It is such a proud moment when you sing Indonesia Raya (Indonesia national song) with thousands of supporters together. Unforgettable. However, the place is never clean and the doors for entrance and exit are kind of troubled. No wonder small accidents often happen.

Hi, is there any mother's room in this place? If any, is it clean and comfortable?
Is GBK has many ramps and disabled/stroller friendly?
Thank you.
