Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fuzimiao is a small but nice temple. Surrounded by one big shopping center with small shops, which are interesting and exquisite in decoration. You can taste some local Nanjing food there.

the buxingjie is located right near the confuscious temple area, it was a holiday when we were there and it was too crowded to actually enjoy ourselves, i would recommnd going, but not on a holiday weekend.

This is a fun and lively area to have a drink or just take a stroll in the evening.
The area is not too far from the Confucian temple and the river, and those distances are easily covered by foot.
Recommended.

This place bustles with activity at night. This place, together with the Qinhuai river, provides a mesmerizing night scene full of lights. The good street food and affordable apparel stores make this place a suitable night market to hang out in. Try the 鸭血粉丝汤 (duck's blood vermicelli soup) in a shop near a small bridge over the river.

I went to historic city Nanjing in summer holiday with my aunt. Nanjing is a very mysterious city in my heart, because it has been the capital city in ancient China, this time, I decided to go through it and experience its charming culture. The famous scenic spot Fuzimiao is a must go place, no matter how crowded it is… There are many poetries in Tang and Song dynasties containing the description of GuQingHuai River, wandering along the bank of the river, I seem to feel the same feelings of the ancient poets. Then, we visited some small shops near the river, which are very interesting and exquisite in decoration. It’s also necessary to taste some local Nanjing food there. We taste the most famous Old Duck Noodles, fried duck roll and glutinous rice dumpling in sweet rice wine. The food is so special but just ok. For whom are interested in history will definitely have some fantastic findings!
