It's definitely worth to do the hike, good air, a bit of sports, finally time to make good use of your sport shoes and outfit, it will be fun. Don't take any of those escorts, busses or taxis up there, just go per pedes, after...More

The view from the top is a bonus and it is a manageable climb up as the stairs are not steep. However, it might not be suitable for people with mobility issues as the stairs are the only way to go up there.

Perhaps the most famous sight in Nanjing. The view is increadible! The mausoleum itself is very interesting, but it's hard to fully appreciate it if you're a foreigner (like me). It sometimes gets very crowded (as all places in China).

Good view to see Nanjing and also to understand a little about Sun Yatsen. Long climb. Had to queue to get into the memorial hall

One of the Must visit places. Although there is Nothing Very Amazing about the place but the View while going up the Mausoleum is Fantastic. Also Enjoy your ride up the mountain in the Tourist shuttle trains.

Pros: great historical value, some interesting information provided, free. Cons: physically gruelling, especially in the summer hear; overall, not much to see; overcrowded.

It was a huge place with lots of greenery and historical buildings. The walk to the top of the Mausoleum was difficult - especially in the heat, but it was worth the view at the top!

Sun Yatsen Mausoleum us a peaceful place. You can plan to visit it besides another destination (ideally "the purple mountain"). The place is not very big but it gives great informations about Dr Sun Yatsen.
