Other then you have to pass thru there to get to the bus interchange. The buildings look nice that will bring you towards it. But other then that as the bus stop us where the buddha is, everyone walk towards the entrance and get vegetarian meal instead of eating here

Recommended place to go if you were in Hongkong, you can take cable car with glass bottom so it feels like your flying. We were one car with a nice girl from Argentina. The view was amazing, but careful if you have heights problem 😁

We went to Ngong Ping via bus because the cable car is under maintenance (Jan to Jun 2017), it took us around 45 mins to reach the village. The village has different stores that you can visit, if you go to the other side you will find a path going to big Buddha. you'll be amaze how beautiful it is.... More

It was a day well spent at the Ngong Ping village. The Crystal cabin package was a good pick for us, as it helped us bypass the whole (huuuge) queue. Even by Indian Rupee standards( I know we always do it :P), it was quite affordable and worth the money. I loved the action show. It was very interesting and... More

The cable car experience was one of the highlights of my trip to Hong Kong in December 2016- the ride to Ngong Ping was spectacular with views of the Lantau Island. Its beautiful, breath-taking and an overall must experience! Be warned though- the lines were extremely long- I would suggest pre-buying your vouchers. We had a Crystal voucher and we... More

Beautiful view from cable car overlooking the sea and forest below. The village itself has a huge Buddha statue, shops with souveniers, eating places etc and worth a visit.

From the Big Buddha, our group of 6 retirees from Singapore took a leisurely walk towards the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Station for a trip to Tung Chung. The weather at this time was slightly cool and somewhat gloomy with slight rain. The crowd outside the ticketing booth was of a manageable size and we purchased our one way... More
