Tai Po Market town. Important centre of New Territories living. Huge population spread over a large area who all come shopping at Tai Po market. Life centers around the garden square and the municipal market which has several famous outlets for meats and spices.

Not much to see here except the large indoor markets with fresh fish and veg etc. The streets are quite different to other parts of HK with lots of outdoor stalls. This is where the locals come to stock up on their goods. Not catered...More
