A huge waterfront park in new territory. Family can go cycling, kite playing, jogging, walking and picnic there. Variety of plantations attract butterflies and birds to visit this part. The wooden tower in spiral shape is the highest point oversee the entire tolo harbour. A good park for family enjoy for a day !!

Where in the world can you walk alone, jog, or saunter arm in arm with your sweetie at night in a city with 8 million people? This park has everything- rose gardens, play grounds, bike rentals, topiary statues and an amazing waterfront boardwalk. Take time to enjoy this green oasis.

Very tranquilizing promenade along the waterfront, beautiful flowers around ever in the winter time (hmmm... they call this "winter" :) ). I watched impressive kiting event: tens of kites of different sizes, forms and colors, from 20-meter king cobra to small flying kittens. There is a bike rent service (don't accept credit cards, cash only!), and you can take a... More

This is a lovely and tranquil park, located on the harbour, apx a 20-minute stroll from the nearest Metro station (Tai Po Market). Very pleasant waterfront promenade and cycling track, impressive lookout tower, boating pond to impress little boys and grown up ones too. Overall a lovely day trip from Hong Kong. Only drawback was the mosquitoes in Summer. Put on plenty of repellant.

We took the metro to Sha Tin and easily rented bikes right outside that we rode for about 1.5 hours to the Tai Po Waterfront Park. The company we rented from had a location where we could drop off our bikes at Tai Po. The ride past Hong Kong University was clean and beautiful (amazing views of the ocean). We... More

A bit difficult to get to unless you drive, but it's free and can be reached by bus if you don't mind the wait. There's an open air carpark across the road. A good place to rent a bike and ride along the waterfront. Good outing to Tai Po on weekends.
