Just ok

Long travel time to see a one room house. Interesting but not worth the time. It does have a nice part adjoining the property.

Hong Kong has so many other places to visit so unless you are really set on seeing one of the last remaining small houses such as this I would suggest you use your time to... More

We enjoyed visiting this museum. It's a lovely quiet area, nice to be out of HK central for a while. Amazing to see it nestled among the apartment blocks. You only need half an hour to an hour there and then relax in the gardens next door. Free entry

After a 30+ minute subway ride and a well marked five minute walk from the Metro station, this "museum" as a tad disappointing. It was one simple, very old dwelling with typical home elements. No staff, not much signage, but a delightful hillside park right next door.

Very nice replication of a traditional Hakka house like there used to be a lot in this area of Hong Kong

You can see a replica of this very farm house at the Hong Kong Museum of History, but if you want to get away from the overwhelm of the city for a nice hour outdoors, in a peaceful garden setting, then take the MTR to Chai Wan, follow the good signage for a 3-minute walk, and explore the old Law...
