Just ok

Long travel time to see a one room house. Interesting but not worth the time. It does have a nice part adjoining the property.

Although the small museum is interesting, the time it takes to reach it is not justified. A quick look around only takes a few minutes. Hong Kong has so many other places to visit so unless you are really set on seeing one of the last remaining small houses such as this I would suggest you use your time to... More

We enjoyed visiting this museum. It's a lovely quiet area, nice to be out of HK central for a while. Amazing to see it nestled among the apartment blocks. You only need half an hour to an hour there and then relax in the gardens next door. Free entry

After a 30+ minute subway ride and a well marked five minute walk from the Metro station, this "museum" as a tad disappointing. It was one simple, very old dwelling with typical home elements. No staff, not much signage, but a delightful hillside park right next door.

Very nice replication of a traditional Hakka house like there used to be a lot in this area of Hong Kong

You can see a replica of this very farm house at the Hong Kong Museum of History, but if you want to get away from the overwhelm of the city for a nice hour outdoors, in a peaceful garden setting, then take the MTR to Chai Wan, follow the good signage for a 3-minute walk, and explore the old Law...
