One of my favorite spots in HK. Always make it a point to visit whenever I can, especially with the recent renovations

Good to also walk around where the 12 animal signs are!

Also there is a restaurant nearby that sells really good roast pork. I always go there to eat after visiting Wong Tai Sin

Also if you're planning to visit here, it would be really good if you stop taking photos of the temple.

Beware of incense vendors. There was a group of vendors from Exit B2 to the entrance of the temple, and they tried to sell to us foreigners who were not familiar with the area and did not speak the local language. They kept coming to sell us incense for 20 HKD for 9 sticks, but they kept coming to sell us things like charms and other things for 20 HKD each, even though we refused. They were so persistent that I regret buying them. They are so rude.
The security guard at the entrance looked at us with pitying eyes. Are they repeat offenders?
The food stalls surrounding the temple were cheaper.
It was very sad that I was ripped off at a power spot that represents Hong Kong, like Senso-ji Temple, even though the government is working together to attract tourists, and although it is a different sect in Japan, it was very sad. You can buy incense at the stalls, so it is better to ignore these people. Also, it is better to check the blog for how to pray. It is difficult to understand.

The temple gate and main hall are decorated with vivid colors under the eaves of the orange tiled roof, and the pillars are vermilion with gold lettering, giving them a rather exotic appearance. The temple grounds are lined with statues with animal faces and human bodies. It is a lively place with many people coming to worship, but it is also a solemn and mysterious place.

We visited this temple by mistake, due to some communication issues, but were glad we had done so. As we entered we were offered an introduction to the beliefs of the faithful, but decided to look around first and enjoyed the temple and the small, but pleasant gardens. The gloriously coloured goldfish shimmered in the sunshine. It was clear that there had been some significant celebrations recently and we wanted to understand more so we returned to the information area. The modern interactive facilities had models and examples which brought the worship and traditions to life. The helpful staff and volunteers spoke to us at length in order to enhance our visit and we greatly appreciated the air conditioned facilities and tranquility away from the bustling coachloads of Chinese tourists. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful.

Large Daoist temple...many fortune teller stalls all vying for you to pick them to tell you your fortune. Lots of people praying and incense burning. Tough on my sensitive eyes but worth a visit.

Adjacent to the Wong Tai Sin metro stop. Simple to enter inside. The temple is a temporary structure that attracts both locals and visitors like myself for prayer. Just before you go, make a wish. If you feel that you can afford it, make a donation to the temple.

The temple was founded in 1921 after a man of the fourth century who had preached to Hong Kong and his influence. It is a large temple complex with numerous buildings, the size and influence of which has now become a symbol of the region to the extent that the name of the administrative district is still known. Many people can see the influence of the dogs placed on the people of Hong Kong where they are always praying, and you can go around the Faith Monument, but unfortunately the gardens behind were being renovated at the time.

It was easily reached via Exit B3 - MTR Wong Tai Sin. The temple was famous for prayers. We enjoyed wandering and enjoying the beautiful structures and landscape in and around the temple.
