The walk to the peak is steep and long. Take a taxi to the summit and, weather and shoes permitting, hike down.

Went here the day after arriving in HKG after a long flight and the fresh air and green scenery whilst walking the loop around the peak was exactly what we needed to cure our jet lag!

There is no better view in Hong Kong. Easy funicular ride to the summit. It was very crowded. Recommend getting skip the line tickets.

Choose the time of day to go as it is a main tourist attraction. We went late afternoon and it was fine. The view is excellent on clear day

Tram is perfectly safe and there is no need to worry as it is well maintained. During weekend and holidays, a long queue could be possible and getting back during closing time, can be delayed due to the rush. Travel time is... More
