Melo Spa is named after pomelo (in Cantonese, pomelo translates as Sha Tin grapefruit), from which the skin and fruit are used as treatment ingredients. There are nine all-inclusive private spa suites — four of which have private outdoor terraces overlooking the mountains — furnished with large whirlpool bath tubs, oversized rain shower cubicles, changing areas and grooming stations. Melo Moments, a specially designed room for foot / head and shoulder massage featuring 12 custom-designed lounge chairs with built-in foot basins, is perfect for pampering parties.

My wife and I have been coming to Melo for the past 5 years and did so again for our wedding anniversary. The therapists come and go but the level and quality of service and the massages have been consistently excellent. Prices are also very reasonable and house guests get 20% off on Mon-Thu. Those staying in Kowloon and Hong... More

Hotel spas in big cities often offer nice environments with average massage quality, but Melo rises to a standard of excellence on both fronts. I enjoyed their professional staff and relaxing spaces, and the price was better than what you find in comparable hotel spas in other big cities (especially in the U.S.).

This spa has lovely relaxing spa treatments in your own spacious private room fitted with spa bath and shower. It is very luxurious. Staff are friendly and professional and I left feeling very pampered!

Nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle, located a two minute walk away from University mtr station (east rail line). Not too many tourists or people around in the hotel which is a massive bonus. Came here for a mini massage whilst my friend had a mini facial, environment and surroundings were luxurious and... Together with my husband, we decided to get a foot massage. It has been a wonderful experience. Relaxed, elegant and discrete atmosphere. The massage lasted one hour...in own way relaxing, on the other hand I could feel professional hands touching right spots to release muscle contraction. Definitely worth it and I'll do it again!

I discovered Melo Spa 3 years ago and it is one of the best massage places I've had in a long time. Nice atmosphere and cozy environment. The massage will cost a bit more than other Kowloon side hotels but what is a few dollars for a massage in a individual hotel room in Shatin area with 4 hours free... More

What a bonus to a wonderful stay at this hotel. I booked a Vitality package with a pedicure as well, and EVERYthing was beautiful - the room, the service, the massage, the products... If you're travelling for a few days and doing alot of sightseeing - this is an ideal way to restore and revitalise during your stay.

Hyatt Spa experience. Pros - great robes, very very clean, english speaking therapists, good location Cons - very clinical decore, no oil menu selection, no incense, no music selection, very bright rooms, therapists technique was average, a tad soul-less The big problem facing this particular spa is that it is good but not excellent in a city that has thousands... Availed of the 60 minute foot message during a recent stay at the Hyatt Regency in Sha Tin. Overall, the masseuse was quite good, offering a deep foot massage, spending some time on the lower calf as well. Massage area was clean, relaxing - basically what you expect at a five star hotel or higher end spa/resort location. No surprises... More
