Nice way to get to Macau

Took the Kowloon to Macau ferry. Was fast, boarding was super efficient. Even though it is fast, you feel the waves quite a bit so easy to get sick if you are often sea sick... read more

We took the turbojet boat to Macau and it was really good. We bought our tickets online way ahead of departure and we didn't have to stand in any ques. Really good value for money.

Took a day trip to Macau with Turbojet. Bought a ticket but what you can do is go on stand-by for earlier sailings. We had a 10:45 ticket but we managed to get on the 10:15 as there was space. Same with the return - possibly book a little later than you need as you can then always join the... More

Found the staff a bit rude and realised later the guy selling the tickets had ripped us off a few dollars. Anyway, on time and got there safely so that's all that counts really.

We took this turbo jet from Kowloon to Macau. The trip in Super Class was very comfortable both ways and certainly worth the small extra money Free beer, but wine you had to pay for, found that very strange. I had left my cap on board and only realised after we had come back through immigration. I mentioned to a... More

I pre-booked TurboJet ticket via official website one month earlier since we would travel on public holiday. I knew it was mostly fully booked on public holidays and weekends; therefore, I just wanted everything to be done beforehand. If you want to avoid chaos during queuing, I suggust you book in advance. You can choose to pay by credit card.... More

Did a day trip to Macau. The ride was smooth and quick, 1 hour each way. Buying a ticket was easy at the station. On busy days I would recommend pre order tickets. THE MAIN THING IS BRING YOUR PASSPORT. MACAU YOU GO THROUGH PASSPORT CONTROL.

Excellent and convenient mode of transportation from Hongkong to Macau and vice versa. A seat number will be assigned to you when you arrive at the counter desk. The best part is If you are late for any reasons, you may board on the next boat. Nothing to worry about. Make sure you fill out the Immigration Arrival/Departure Slip for... More

An efficient, organised and to time trip. The staff were helpful, aware of safety concerns and polite. An hour each way, easiest way to travel to Macau. If in Hong Kong then this is the best way. Pay for superclass as the extras are worth the money. Full marks Turbojet.

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
