I mean, of course you're gonna go... 5 minutes, a quick pic...but it's Bruce Freaking Lee, how can you not go pay some respect? A convenient 10 min walk from the star ferry, near some museums on the waterfront on Kowloon side. Check it out son!

The Avenue of Stars is currently closed so they relocated the statue to the Garden of Stars which is a 15-20min walk from TST promenade. We had to go there, of course!

Now this is just a statue in the middle of a park, I found the one in Madame Tuassuds (Hong Kong) to be more interesting.

This is the famous bronze statue of Bruce Lee the movie actor. He is standing in a defense pose and you will have to take a picture next to him. It is located in the Garden of Stars.

It's not the same. Bruce was moved from the boardwalk to another area due to construction. Poor planning. The statue is still cool. But without the backdrop of Victoria harbour it's just a statue without the full wow factor.

The person who designed this statue did a great job. The statue depicts Bruce exactly. The facial expression is quite good and so is the famous move. This is located at the statue square.

Disclaimer: This is currently under construction so instead of being the avenue of stars it is the “Garden of Stars.” Whether it be because of the move or the display there were only a few statues, Bruce Lee being the obvious one - a few “set displays” you could sit in, and on tribute to an influential performer of china.... Great opportunity for a picture with the Legend. It's definitely a must if you are in Hong Kong. It has recently moved from the waterfront for some reason...but it's easily found if you follow Avenue of Stars signs.
