As well as the Star Ferries that just take you from one side to the other (best 20p you'll ever spend!), there's also a circular harbour tour route. It runs every hour and for most of the day costs HKD 40 (a little under GBP...More

We took the Star Ferry across from HK Island to Kowloon on 1st Nov. It cost us each only HKD$2.20. The ferries come every 10 mins so there was minimal waiting time. It was clean and comfortable and the ride gave us a fabulous view...More

We really enjoyed our cruise on Star Ferry. It was just about the right amount of time. Cruises to both ends of the harbor with lots of good information about the buildings and other sights. I would say they could improve the waiting area with...More

We got across the bay quickly it only cost a few bucks. Great way to get around. If we’ve been there longer I would’ve taken the ferry to other destinations around Hong Kong

A historical must-do in Hong Kong. Very cheap and the perfect way to get a great view of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.

It is a very cheap, fast and convenient mode of transport from Kowloon to the Hong Kong Island and back. The skyline of both banks will be revealed in front of your eyes.

Cheap as chips and a great way to see Victoria Harbour and see the sights of Hong Kong. A must do on your visit

By far the more attractive way of getting between Central and Tsim Sha Tsui. The MTR may be quicker, but it’s nowhere near as cheap and you miss out on the fascinating skyline views.

Only a few dollars on your octopus card. A nice intro to HK. Go to central ifc by ferry from tst. Cheapest cute water trip you could ever do at night.

We had a problem getting our tokens. We put in our $6 dollars for the $2.80 x 2, but it showed an error and ate the money. The lady behind us then tried and it ate hers too. We called for help but they did...More

A bit overpriced taking into account the experience which you’ll have. Light show too over estimated and actually is not something what I’d say that it impressed us. Take something to cover your head and shoulders because it might be windy. Grab some free beverages...More

I would say put 100HkD to start with. You can always top up in the MTR machines or convenice store. If there is anything left by the end of the 3days you can easily finish the remaining by getting snacks in supermarket... More
