Everyone tells you when visiting Hong Kong you must go on the Star Ferry. It's very cheap $2.70hk one way and it is worth the experience if only to get onto the harbour for a few minutes. It's probably a little more exciting at night...More

I prefer taking the star ferry from TST to Central because the view of Central & Wanchai is better. The ride gives you one of the most stunning views of HK skyline with lots of photo opportunities. It's cheap and the journey is pleasant and...More

Worth a trip to see the skyline from a different angle. The water can be pretty choppy but it is a short trip across the bay and it only costs a couple of dollars! A handy way to get across the city if you want...More

it's cheap and it's convenient. And you can see harbor view for free. if you take subway, it cost you more time and money from Central to TST.

Travelled from Hong Kong to Kowloon. Beautiful scenery. Clean ferry. The trip takes about 15 minutes. Lots of photo opportunities.

There are so many options to take around Hong Kong, but Star Ferry is an everlasting favourite. A gentle breeze on a warm day helps you enjoy a crossing to Kowloon across the bay and back.

At 3.5HKD, it's great value to cross the harbour and gives you one of the best and most clear views of the HK island skyline.

This was quite a cool part of our trip - we'd read about the Star Ferry while researching visit-worthy places on the net. We used our Octopus cards for the ride, which is one of the best parts about traveling in HK - the Octopus...More

the surface, Tsim Sha Tsui seems to only feature an
abundant number of high-end retail stores selling
designer brands and jewelry, owing to its popularity

The ferries are every 8 minutes to Central and 12 minutes to Wan Chai. There will be little if no waiting line. If you miss the ferry, the maximum you will be waiting is 8-12 mins.
