Shatin is one of the new town projects since the 80s. It is the product of balanced urban planning and rapid development of the New Territories. Shopping malls, parks and transport stations are all conveniently located. A good place for a day trip.

Shatin is a place, which provides a big shopping mall. We could buy different kinds of things, including luxury, clothes, electronic devices... and there are many famous restaurants.

Extremely cost effective. Good place to stay if you like satin. Transportation is convenient. Shopping is nearby. Good food is all around.

Went to the Shatin Racecourse by train with dad. Spent a day at the Racecourse and dad bet on his favourite horses.

I can't find any other place to review the Hong Kong Racecourse at Shatin. We attended the "Champions Mile" event in May 2016. Travelled to the track via MTR. Paid $10Hk to enter the track. Paid about $80hk each for tourist badges to the members...More
