If you exit the park towards the river, turn left and you will find a place to rent bicycles. There is a 10km ride along the river.

Sha Tin Park is a little known green space in Shatin. Part of the new town, it is a beautifully maintained park with a great view of Shing Mun River. A stroll along the riverfront is lovely.

Not at all crowded, well maintained, good flowers and trees. Very peaceful. Good to sit relax and eat sandwiches waste time. Near the river but not all that scenic with all big buildings nearby

Very lovely park along with the picturesque bike trail in the new territories. You can meet locals dancing and singing karaoke here, too.

This park is located beside the river and only a few minutes walk from the city centre plaza and train station. It has an open-air pavilion. There is a play park for children.

Good park with waterwall and many places for the rest. Golden fishes in the small lake. Nice pavilions.

I'm always surprised by how relaxing and enjoyable Sha Tin Park can be, especially after enduring the maddening crowds of New Town Plaza Mall just beside the park. One of the things I like about the Sha Tin Park are the traditional Chinese style gardens...More
