Before arriving, I thought Lockhart Rd was the main drag of Wan Chai, but instead found it to be the main drag of Bathroom supplies.
Hennessy Rd is far better for what you expect of Hong Kong, Pubs, Shops, Money Change, Markets, double decker trams,...More
Rode the double decker tram from Sheung Wan to North Point. Much of the tracks are on Hennessy Road. Sitting up top you will get an impressive look at many different neighborhoods and lots of shopping, both stores and street shopping. SOGO Department Store is...More
My office building is located here so i walk along this road a lot. It's a long road with wanchai mtr at 1 end and causeway bay mtr at the other. Highlights include the michelin star kam's roast goose restaurant and the times square mall
We all know how eggs and luncheon meat or known as spam to some, are great comfort food... how about having both paired in a piping hot sandwich... the bread that these two sit in are lightly toasted and soft which ensures a truly comforting...More
Hennessy Road is a major thoroughfare through the Island and can be very busy and clogged with traffic. The best way is to cross the road from Central Plaza to Wan Chai Station and you get a good feel for the road.
Almost everything can be found on and in the surrounding of this street. We started every daily trip from here either by walking , by tram, buses or MTR. And we finished every day in one of local restaurants.
If you are going to be in Hong Kong Island, you will be in this area at some point. You can easily spend the whole day exploring the road as there is a lot of shopping and eating to do. The entire road never seems...More

We first saw this road as we were riding the Ding Ding from Central to Causeway Bay. It looked like a hot spot with many shops and restaurants. We decided to make our way back and had a pretty decent time. However, at night, it...More
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of
buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
