Sneaker street

Also known as the sneaker street. Packed with people most of the time but a good place to shop for sneakers. Found my Air Jordan retro 6 here, happy 😊

This market was just on the door step of our hotel which meant we ended up walk through on most nights. We were surprised with the range of items available in the street market of the adjoining shops. Everything from shoes, make up, jewellery, phone cords, clothes etc. The prices we quite reasonable to good depending on how trans had... More

Fa Yuen Street is an amazing touristy place worth visiting when in Hong Kong. Considerable cheap personal goods though it gets too crowded on weekends.

Been there. Done that. Will not go again. Street markets in other Asian countries are more interesting. But if you haven't ever been to one before, go! It's an experience.

Its a great place to find latest trends for shoes however prices are pretty average. Not cheap. Worth the visit but it seems like visiting 5 shops would be suffice as everyone seems to have the same range.

Fa Yuen Street is apparently famous for sneakers and it really is. We had many chances to wander around Fa Yuen Street. We walked from the hotel and it took less than five minutes. It has a wide selection of sneakers (Vans, Adidas, Nike, Converse, New Balance etc.) and local food as well. Only one major thing you should be... More

The market is located on Fa Yuen Street and is closed for traffic, so you can take your time going through the stalls. The merchandise offered is anything from small electronics, tourist trinkets and clothing. Definitely worth a visit to see a local market.

We visited Fa Yuen St (or sneaker st) on a recent trip to Hong Kong. It did coincide with Chinese Holiday week so was extremely busy and frustrating. A few words of warning: Go early as the crowds are not so bad around lunch time. They only get busier from then and reach fever pitch by the evening. Be prepared... More
