The Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda is stop 13 on the Ping Shan Heritage Trail. It is located just across from Exit E3 of the Tin Shui Wan MTR and Light Rail stations. The pagoda is a Declared Monument structure in Hong Kong and was built over 600 years ago.
What you will see is a 13-metre tall structure that is three stories high. It is hexagonal shaped and made of grey bricks. During normal times, you can enter the pagoda and view the inside of the first level where you find a small shrine with deity figure.
Note: Presently the Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda is going through some restorations (as of April 2021). As such, there is scaffolding around much of the pagoda facade. Also, entry into the ground level is not presently available.
After viewing the Tsui Sing Lau, you can walk up Tsui Sing Road beside the station a short distance before making way down to the Tat Tak Communal Hall (stop 14), the last attraction included on the Ping Shan Heritage Trail.

Tsui Sing Lau is the most visible landmark at the Ping Shan Heritage Trail. A unique building to wish for literary accomplishment, it contains special meaning for the development of the Tang clan. Like all other buildings along the trail, it is closed by the local villagers.

This three story, brick built pagoda is just down a side street in a heavily built area. As such, it looks a little out of place and other than the outside and the ground floor, there isn’t masses to see.
However, due to its position in history, it has sufficient interest - particularly as part of the overall trail.

The Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda is an 13 metre high, three storey historic building that you can see in Yuen Long. This is the only ancient pagoda in Hong Kong, being over 600 years old. It has been a declared monument in HK since 2001.
From the outside, this is a simple hexagonal shaped, grey brick pagoda with simple roof ornamentation and a small barrier circling the structure. You can enter the ground floor room and see a small shrine as well as some general information about Tsui Sing Lau and the Ping Shan Trail on two information panels. Opening Hours are 9-1pm and 2-5pm daily (Closed on Tuesdays). There is no access to the upper two floors.
In the end, it is a simple pagoda but a nice inclusion along the Ping Shan Heritage Trail. If you are starting from the Tin Shui Wai MTR Station, it is the first stop along the trail that will eventually lead to the Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery Community Heritage Trail Visitor Centre.
