Old Temple surrounded by skyscrappers. Nice grounds. As of this writing some areas closed off due to nearby construction. Beautiful temple. Some interesting areas and displays.

It's funny how you can find so peaceful place from the city centre. the cost is 10CNY enter the temple and it is quite small but worth to visit. Some parts were under construction.

Nice temple and interesting enough to visit despite the entry fee. There are better temples in the world but it's one of the better places to see in Chongqing.

A fascinating visit and a great way to understand how China has become a country of so many very large cities. The Temple is well laid out and easy access so worth spending a good hour simply walking around and looking at the exhibition.

Probably the Chinese are trying hard to preserve some of their cultural past. This is a good example in the heart of Chongqing. This temple is really encased in the highrise building around and the subway line underneath it.

Location best visited with a guide other wise your really dont know the significance of all the little thinks in place turning a one hour walk into a half day experience. The blend of the old and the new is worth capturing on photo.

I wasn't too excited about touring this place at first. But, after getting a chance to walk around inside this landmark and listen to our very well-informed guide, I'm glad we did. It's really a very elaborate structure which also depicts early Chinese life in...More
