Went here for the views and the lovely walks. As with all natural areas I have visited in China so far, litter spoils some of the paths and photo opportunities but that being said, there are some wonderful views of Beibei and a lot of attractive wildlife on the trails from spiders and butterflies to lizards. Well worth the trip.... More

We left our hotel in Shapingba at 9.30am to get the train to Beibei (end of line 6). It took an hour and a half, and once we were there we took a taxi - we attempted to go to the bottom of the cable car but the driver offered to take us to the top of the mountain for... More

A bit of a workout, but beautiful nonetheless. Do not go if you have mobility issues, but the views are phenomenal.

We were walking up the hill and came across adorable baby monkeys - most of us had some food on us so we gave them some bananas which they quickly devoured.

This was incredibly beautiful. There was a five tier waterfall was the most spectacular waterfall I've ever seen. You walk through a bamboo forest.

We took the Cable Car up from Beibei, ( 45 minute drive from downtown Chongqing ). it's a local one, a little rough but works fine, it's quite a long way up to the Mountain Station, a good 20 minutes cost RMB 25 each way. Then there are lots of tracks around and up to a few peaks including Shuzi... More
